Interesting Take on Hillary Clinton’s Campaign
I also found this screenshot of Glenn Beck to be quite amusing.
This muffler shop owner in Batesville, MS must not care for the Clintons. I thought this was too funny to pass up. It appears that Hillary Clinton may stay in the race all the way to the Democratic Convention. Before it’s over a civil war may erupt there and end with the convention center burning to the ground. Didn’t something like that happen in 1968?

I would just like to thank all my fellow ‘STUMBLERS’ for making this webpage the number 1 on my site with 60,000 hits and counting. So many people have ’stumbled’ this page ( people in a 121 different countries ) that even the owner of the muffler shop actually left a comment below - and I was able to email him………the internet truly makes this a small world.

Rednecks shouldn’t be allowed to vote, or speak, umm, or breed.
March 13th, 2008 at 6:13 pm
funny thing about those dumb poor uneducated white southerners….at least they are smart enough to reproduce…. that’s more than I can say for those “enlightened, liberated, self-righeous, tolerant, politically correct, dictators of modern media and conventional wisdom”….that exist in America’s (socialist) Democratic Party.
March 13th, 2008 at 9:56 pm
are you seriously asserting that more educated people are actually mentally incapable of reproduction?
or are you just another muscle-headed self-congratulatory neocon flack who is eager for a chance to lie, if it makes him feel like he wins some kind of valuable “points”?
March 14th, 2008 at 2:43 am
Wow. It’s amazing how fast these comments get totally off-topic. The sign is funny. Either agree with that, or say it’s lame. Just leave the rest out.
The sign? Hilarious.
March 14th, 2008 at 3:42 pm
The sign is really funny. No need to put people from the south down. you must all be Clinton supporters.
March 14th, 2008 at 4:16 pm
Yes, I agree. This sign is quite humorous. However, I see no reason to be putting those from the South down. We are not all uneducated hill people, don’t discriminate.
March 14th, 2008 at 7:52 pm
However wrong the sign is, I still think it is funny. Not true, but funny. Just be nice to her once she becomes president.
March 14th, 2008 at 9:15 pm
yea, but wat it comes down to, if u and a redneck are trapped in a room, who would come out alive? id bet my life it wouldnt be one of u skinny folks makin fun of southerners, lol
March 14th, 2008 at 10:20 pm
OK, Justin, let’s compare something that actually matters -
Life Expectancy at birth
Top 10 (longest): Wanna guess the 10 lowest? Ah, heck. (lol):
Hawaii District of Columbia (gun violence)
Minnesota Mississippi (gun violence, diet and health care)
North Dakota Louisiana (etc.)
Utah Alabama (etc.)
Iowa South Carolina (etc.)
New Hampshire Tennessee
Connecticut West Virginia
Colorado Arkansas
Massachusetts Kentucky
California Oklahoma
March 15th, 2008 at 1:13 am
Next, in rank order, come poor whites in Appalachia and the Mississippi Valley with an average life expectancy of 75, Western Native Americans, who live to an average of 73, and black middle America, also 73. Low-income Southern rural blacks and high-risk urban blacks, “Americas Seven and Eight,” live to 71.
Jonathan Skinner of Dartmouth says much of the variation depends on such individual factors as diet, exercise and smoking, not health care. “Yet we spend much of our attention and 16% of our national income on health care,” Skinner says. “There’s no way that differences in the quality of health care can explain 20-year gaps in life expectancy.”

I think picking on Hillary for her husband’s lack of discretion and self-control is pretty low. Funny, yes, but reducing someone to that level is really petty. I think the election should be focused around how the candidates can improve our country, not their personal lives or demographics.

You’re all ignorant fools.
March 16th, 2008 at 9:15 pm
Well put Jesus.
Just to put this out there, it doesn’t matter who the president is, for it is solely one position. The positions filled that we should all care about that truly can invoke change are those regarding the Senate, House of Reps, Congress, State Governors, etc.
March 16th, 2008 at 9:51 pm
Stephanie that’s the most intelligent comment i’ve read on my entire blog - if only people could see that. If only they were as concerned about their congress and senate and they are the oval office.
March 17th, 2008 at 5:24 am
I’, a Clinton supporter and heck I found that chuckleworthy. I’m also from the South and don’t think all of them are stupid, ignorant, racist rednecks. Some are stupid and Rednecks. Some are racist and rednecks. Some are stupid and racist. We’re a melting pot

This person will vote for a baboon that has made a mess of our finances, gas prices, 1 trillion dollars lost in an unneeded war and sent our jobs to India and China. I guess Monica Lewinsky was/is more important. It is obvious he/she has the priorities straight. Go figure! And we complain about a recession?

Yeehaww, the south’ll rise again.lawlzors

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Jesus is right.
You all have issues in the brain department.

It’s not like the voters even pick the president. Sorry people popular vote is worthless.
March 30th, 2008 at 1:42 am
It’s a shame that northerners think they are above others. As a Canadian born citizen with American family, I think it is shameful for people of the north or south to look down upon each other, each of their votes are worth the same amount, and believing that you are superior because of your heritage is an unfortunate trait that many of you unfortunately hold.

Are you kidding me? Who cares if Bill Clinton cheated on his wife, i don’t care even with all his flaws he was a great president he actually started paying back the United States debt unlike George bush who made it an unheard of amount.

The sign was funny. Pure & simple. I change it weekly. Last sign up stated “ATTN CRACKHEADS-SPRING IS HERE-TIME TO PAWN YOUR HEATER”. It amazes me how Northern people keep this “Deliverance” attitude about Southerners. It’s just a sign. Lighten up. This weeks sign states “LET US DARE TO READ, THINK, SPEAK AND WRITE JOHN ADAMS 1765″. But you won’t see that one on any blogs.

Freedom of Speech. It’s an amazing thing. My Dad’s sign gets a lot of attention in our small, but growing, Mississippi town. The infamous “Monica Lewinsky sign” is only one of the MANY signs that have been put up. Signs you may never hear about are ones congratulating the South Panola Tigers on their 5th Consecutive Championship Football Game, thanking the soldiers for their service to this country, or even saying Happy First Birthday to my daughter (his only grandchild).
Everyone has their opinion and I am thankful to live in a country that allows us to express our thoughts. The sign is NOT to offend anyone.. it is to make people smile. You may not like the sign today, but next week you may smile so hard your cheeks hurt. Sense of humor.. it’s a WONDERFUL quality to have.

I live in the town of Batesville where this sign is located. I pass it everyday as I bring my children to school and then head to classes myself. I eagerly wait for the next one to be put up. It always puts a smile on my face. Once I read it I can’t wait to get home and share it with my husband or with my friends at school. I take offense to the southerner remarks. I am not an ignorant; as a matter of fact I am in Law School. I consider myself a democrat but I don’t care for either of those who are running this election.
She may not be her husband but they were married. Usually people who are married have the same values and priorities otherwise the marriage wouldn’t work out. You people can claim all you want that Clinton was good for our economy but the truth of the matter is that really none of our presidents affect the stage of our economy. Recessions as well as good times occur on a cycle and those who are in office when the economy is good just gets credited for doing something to make it that way. Those who happen to be in office when we are in a recession unfortunately gets blamed for causing that as well. It is just a matter of being in the right place at the right time or wrong time as the case may be.
April 24th, 2008 at 5:49 pm
Hey Olemissgirl, I would say that the socialist policies of the democratic party will eventually drive our economy in the dirt. I’ve came up with a new slogan “Democracy is a system of government in which if a single citizen is a failure - the people will guarantee that all citizens become failures.” Anyway I thought it was funny. The welfare state, too many laws (thanks to too many lawyers & the refusal to obey the U.S. Constitution), and broken homes - where the kids are raising themselves because mommy and daddy are off pursuing their ‘dreams’ so they can have a ’successful career’ and a life they can be proud of…..no society can survive these conditions because it always implodes on itself…. Watch as the citizens of America vote themselves more dollars from the government. This is pure insanity.

Thanks for making my point about Southern rednecks and how long they live compared to northeastern whites!
For western Native Americans (I live among them), the biggies are weight (diabetes) and alcoholism. One can argue this isn’t related to health care but of course it is. Those who are making progress against diabetes, such as Zuni Pueblo, are doing it with health programs that engage people in good diet and exercise.

Rednecks shouldn’t vote? Well, in that case, neither should blacks, Asians, the Irish, women, immigrants, regardless of nationality, anyone with a foreign accent, or anyone who does not have a college education. None of those community college or mail-order diplomas, either. There will be a $200 tax for a license to vote. In order to obtain your license, you’ll be required to undergo an extensive background check, and have the Chief Law-Enforcement officer in your county sign off on a waiver stating that you’re safe to vote. If you’re denied, the $200 tax and any other fees are non-refundable. Thereafter, you’ll be required to undergo searches of your home, car, and any e-mail accounts to ensure you’re not under the influence of foreign propaganda. If caught with any materials deemed to be propaganda, which is a felony, you will receive a minimum 10 year/$100,000 fine. For voting in accordance with such propaganda, a life sentence is recommended.
Would that be better than the system we have now, “Down with rednecks”? It would keep rednecks, as well as other undesirables, out of the polls, and prevent them from partaking in the democratic process.
